There are times in your life when you hear a song for the first time or watch a movie for the first time, and it changes you forever. The creation of this playlist was one of those times.
I have always been a huge fan of music, but the discovery of new music has opened my ears to a whole New World.
Once, when I was in high school, I was listening to the radio and I heard this song and I wasn't sure of the name and I wasn't sure who sang it, but all I remembered was this one lyric called the Double Dutch Bus.
I remember going to music stores, asking people, the name of the song looking in books and just rummaging through the CD collection trying to find this song, but I was never able to find it. It's amazing how much we take for granted nowadays how easy it is to look up a song we want to hear or a movie we want to see, but 30 years ago, man what a challenge it was if you really didn't know it's title.
Fast forward 30 years later, and one night I was listening to RadioMeuh and I heard this song with a very familiar beat to it. I jumped up and told myself this is it. This is the song. This is the song that I have been looking for for almost 30 years. Wow! The Double Dutch Bus, by Frankie Smith. I will never, for the rest of my life forget this song again.
